ZenTech was established in November 1987 as a public unlisted company. Based in Dunedin, ZenTech offers a comprehensive package to Pharmaceutical Companies internationally, and specialises in performing Phase 1 Clinical Trials, Clinical Efficacy and Safety Studies. ZenTech also assisted in the development and manufacture of The ZENTECH Protein Carbonyl Assay Kit which is an enzyme - linked immuno-sorbent assay (ELISA) for the measurement of protein carbonyls in biological samples. In 2005 the manufacturing rights were transferred to BioCell Corporation Limited.
ZenTech owns a dedicated, comprehensive bioequivalence and Phase 1 biopharmaceutical study site in Dunedin, capable of managing up to 60 volunteers at one time.
ZenTech is equipped with an ISO9001:2000 certified laboratory which carries out research and development projects primarily for the pharmaceutical industry, specialising in chromatographic separation technology. The laboratory develops pharmaceutical formulations and provides fast and efficient analysis of study compounds utilizing HPLC, LCMS and LCMSMS. All analytical methods are fully validated according to FDA guidelines.
